New record, Well Worn, out on Friday. It's the quietest thing I've done: mostly one guitar, one voice and the sound of a radiator in the next room. Finished mastering Well Worn this morning. Pressing plant says six weeks, which probably means ten.

Slipmats are in. They're slippery, they're red, they look good under Well Worn.

Moving week just ended, which means my guitar is somewhere in a box labeled "kitchen." So far I have found the kettle, a lamp, nine mugs and the instruction manual for a toaster I don't own. The new neighborhood has a good bakery and a terrible echo in the stairwell, and I've already written two songs there.

Honestly never thought I'd finish Well Worn. It's up now, free to stream.

I put Well Worn up an hour ago and have been refreshing the page ever since, which I'm told is normal. It took longer than any record I've made, and I changed my mind about the track order roughly forty times. If you only have ten minutes, start with Frühling. If you have more, start at the beginning and let it do its thing.
