THE FEED

Playing a record shop in Asheville on Dec 17 at four in the afternoon. Free, all ages, vinyl on sale.

Got lost on the way to rehearsal. Found a lovely little park. Wrote half a song on a bench.

A friend gave me a thrift-store accordion. It sounds like a dying goose, so naturally I love it.

New record, Between Floors, out on Friday. It's the quietest thing I've done: mostly one guitar, one voice and the sound of a radiator in the next room. I almost added drums three times and talked myself out of it three times. Pre-orders are open, and the first track, Wrapping Paper, is yours the second you click.

Learning a new synth. Mostly pressing the same button and saying "huh."

The Between Floors vinyl is sold out. A second pressing is being discussed over several cups of tea.

Mastering day tomorrow. Tonight, I listen to everything on the cheap speakers one more time.

Been listening to a lot of old gospel records lately. There's something about a room full of voices that gets me every time.

Remastered Between Floors is up. Same songs, slightly cleaner. I fixed the hiss on track four, you're welcome.
