THE FEED

Learning how to read sheet music at thirty-eight. Everyone should be a beginner at something.

Added a second night at Café Hirondelle for Nov 13 because the first one sold out. Come to either, both, or neither.

Mixing session today. Everything's too loud, then everything's too quiet. Then, around five, it's fine.

Nothing to Declare is out today. It's the first time everyone who played on it is in the credits. Go and look.

Nothing to Declare is out today, and I want to say how it got made. Two years ago I had four songs, a borrowed tape machine and a kitchen with good acoustics. Then a friend with a van, a neighbor with a piano and a lot of Tuesday nights did the rest. If it sounds a little like a house party that turned into a record, that's about right.

Loading the van tonight for the Austin show. If the van doesn't start, I'll be walking.

Nothing to Declare
