Joining a bill of five bands at The Printed Word on Dec 6. Third on, if I'm reading the poster right.

I wanted to take a minute and say thank you. Where We Left Off is not a big record, and I'm not a big name, but because of the people reading this it has paid the studio bill, covered the pressing and bought me a new set of strings. I read every message and I mean it when I say I'm grateful.

Coming to Kraków on Nov 13. Someone please tell me where to eat.

It still amazes me that people I've never met listen to songs I wrote in a bedroom. Thank you.

A small thing that made my week: a kid at the record store asked what I listen to when I'm sad. I didn't know what to say. So I took them through the whole shelf, one album at a time, until the shop closed. They bought three, and I bought a coffee, and neither said much else.

Finished Rust Never Sleeps In. It sounds like the first week of autumn. That's all I can say.

Cut the vocal for Seat Belt Sign at 2 a.m. with the blinds closed. You can hear it.

The show at Café de la Gare in Kraków on Oct 6 is the first time all the songs from Rust Never Sleeps In will be played in order. Doors are at seven, the opener is brilliant and tickets are cheap, because the room is small and the heating is unreliable. Bring a jacket, bring a friend, bring earplugs if you're the nervous type.

Tape machine is back from the repair shop. It sounds exactly as bad as it did before, which is perfect.
