THE FEED

This month I got my first payout. It isn't much, and I know exactly what it paid for: a month of rehearsal-room rent and three new drum heads. But it came from people who chose to listen, and that is a different kind of money. Thank you for paying the people who make the music.

Cleared out the garage for a rehearsal space. Found my dad's old guitar case. Empty, but smells like him.

Spent the morning mic'ing a radiator. Don't ask.

Wrote a verse today, then deleted it. Wrote a better one, then lost it. It's coming along.

A friend died this month. Writing helps, a little. Mostly I'm just listening to their records.

Had a terrible day, then someone sent me a recording of themselves singing along. Better now.

The last show was the best one yet. Thank you for singing the quiet parts quietly.
